Gintoki comes to know from Yamazaki that he shall participate in the Fan Club Contest along with Okita, Kondo and Hijikata. As Kagura race with Kondo they find themselves running in the wrong direction.
When Taka-chin is injured, Yamazaki is not able to initially notice it. Gintoki is busy carrying him to the hospital while Sinpachi begins to run ahead of him. Within a very short while, Gintoki manages to get hold o a Taka-chin look-alike and he appears running at a great speed. Sinpachi is about to reach the crowd which is right before him this group form a Genbu wall in order to prevent him from reaching or passing through. As he tries his best to overcome this new hurdle, he ends up running on the rails of the bridge from where the Otakus are crossing.
